On April 16, 2010 the Collin County Historical Society and Empire Lodge 586 dedicated Historical Markers at Empire College and at Empire Lodge 586 in Nevada, Texas. Activities began at the Site of Empire College (Orginial site of Empire Lodge 586) and finished up with the placing of a Historical Marker at Empire Lodge 586 in Nevada. Several Masons and friend were in attendance. See the picture in the Photo gallery of the activities at the Lodge hall.

Welcome to our website. Thank you for dropping in. Please consider visiting our lodge. We promise to treat you in so many ways, you will have to like some of them. Our stated meeting is on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM with dinner beginning at 6:30 PM. We are located at 310 FM 6 in Nevada, Texas. We are approxmately 3.5 miles east of Highway 78 and 3 miles west of Josephine, Texas
